Service Description
Used by the Australian Military as their Combatives Program KEF-IC has a strong history as being effective under the duress of actual conflict. Kinetic Fighting (KEF) is a set of principles and procedures applied to a physical threat, so as to minimise the risk of deliberate or accidental death or injury to oneself, or to others who are under your protection. Although developed to counter the extreme threats found in war, KEF views human violence and its prevention through its commonalities - behavioural, biological, technical, and technological. It is these distinctly varied yet interconnected factors that provide the bedrock for Kinetic Fighting's principles and their application in equally varied environments. As such, KEF is characterised by pragmatism and adaptation rather than a rigid ideology or set of techniques. From 25 Oct 2021: Participants aged 16 years and over are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please have your vaccination certificate or exemption available to be sighted upon entry.
